High frequency treatment is essentially a vasodialator, it increases the blood supply to the hair follicles whilst being treated. It works by stimulating blood flow to the hair follicles, thus drawing vital nutrients to the hair bulb encouraging healthier and stronger growth of individual hairs.
Here at TRICHOSYNERGY we use a High Frequency Treatment Machine for our patients with thinning hair conditions. Reasons for hair loss vary from person to person, however the average treatment process would be 6-8 sessions.
Your consultation will help to determine the correct session times and intervals for the treatment.
A professional Trichologist has the knowledge and experience to operate the treatment machines ensuring they are safe for all kinds of patients. There are certain medical conditions that will make this treatment unsuitable. Please note that the Trichologist must have the patient’s medical history.
Not suitable during pregnancy or for hypertensive patients for example. Your initial consultation will determine your suitability for any recommended treatments.
If you are experiencing any concerns about your hair loss, book a consultation and start restoring your hair.
The ideal thread lift candidate is usually in his or her late thirties to early fifties, whereas most patients over the age of about 55 will benefit more profoundly from facelift surgery. Thread lifts can, however, provide a facelift alternative for older patients who are unable to have surgery for medical reasons. Because thread lifts can be performed under local anaesthesia, many people who have age-related conditions that make them ineligible for surgery (like high blood pressure, type two diabetes and cardiovascular disease) can safely have this treatment.
POD, or polydioxanone threads, dissolve after only six to nine months. Patients will notice full results around three weeks post-procedure. During this three week span, the skin has repositioned and collagen has flooded the area as it is the body’s natural injury response.
While minimally-invasive, thread lift procedures are not entirely pain-free. Although it is one of the most minimally-invasive procedures there is the market today, patients do some times experience post-procedural bruising, swelling and soreness.
